Refund & Return Policy

At Le Nez Perfume Bar, we craft every Extrait de Parfum with uncompromising standards. We believe in complete transparency regarding our creations, ensuring that your experience is guided by clarity, fairness, and absolute luxury.

Le Nez Perfume Bar operates fundamentally differently from commercial fragrance houses. Every Extrait de Parfum is handcrafted, poured, and often personalized directly for the client.

Because fragrance is an intimate, cosmetic product, our return policies strictly reflect health, safety, and the bespoke nature of fine perfumery. We encourage all clients to explore our creations through our Discovery Sets or by consulting with our perfumers before committing to a full-size acquisition.

We accept returns for full-size, non-customized fragrances strictly under the following conditions:

  • The return request is initiated within 14 days of the delivery date.
  • The product is completely unused, unsprayed, and unopened.
  • The original cellophane sealing and luxury packaging remain perfectly intact and undamaged.
  • Proof of purchase from our official atelier or website is provided.

Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, if it meets all the criteria above, a refund will be processed to the original payment method.

To uphold the absolute purity and hygiene of our cosmetic products, we cannot accept returns on items that have left our quality control environment and been opened.

Explicitly Non-Returnable:

  • Opened or Used Fragrances: Any bottle where the seal has been broken or the atomizer has been depressed.
  • Bespoke & Personalized Creations: Bottles featuring custom engraving, custom naming labels, or bespoke fragrance formulations.
  • Discovery & Sampling: Discovery sets, sample vials, and promotional miniatures are final sale.
  • Rendered Services: Booking fees for events, private sessions, or masterclasses that have already occurred.

We stand completely behind the craftsmanship of our atelier. If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or if an incorrect item was shipped, we will resolve the matter immediately with zero friction.

  • Timeframe: Please contact our concierge within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Documentation: Provide your order number and clear photographs of the damaged item and the shipping box.
  • Resolution: We will expedite a complimentary replacement or issue a full refund, depending on your preference. We will also provide a prepaid label to return the damaged goods to our studio.

Once your eligible return is received at our Chicago atelier, it undergoes a strict quality inspection. You will receive an email notification confirming the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, the refund will be processed automatically to your original method of payment. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your financial institution.

  • Preference Returns: If you are returning an eligible, unopened item due to a change of preference, you are responsible for the return shipping costs. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
  • Original Shipping: Original shipping charges applied at checkout are non-refundable.
  • Le Nez Errors: If the return is due to damage, defect, or an error on our part, Le Nez Perfume Bar will cover 100% of the return and replacement shipping costs.

Our private perfumery sessions and event bookings require meticulous preparation and dedicated time from our master perfumers.

  • Deposits: To secure a date for private events or group sessions, a non-refundable deposit is required.
  • Rescheduling: We allow complimentary rescheduling of private sessions if notified at least 14 days in advance of the booking.
  • Cancellations: Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled event will forfeit the deposit. Services already rendered during an event are strictly non-refundable.

The Le Nez Scent Society operates on automated billing cycles to ensure uninterrupted delivery of your bespoke boxes and benefits.

  • Cancellation: You may cancel your membership at any time to prevent future billing. Cancellation requests must be made at least 48 hours before your next renewal date.
  • Refunds: We do not offer retroactive refunds for membership fees once a billing cycle has processed and benefits or physical boxes have been deployed.
